Hotfix 7.2: Fixing the Wall-Run Exploit
A small but important hotfix went out today addressing an exploit that was spreading fast in ranked lobbies.
What was happening
A specific input sequence let players chain wall-runs on certain map geometry indefinitely, effectively granting permanent aerial movement and making them nearly impossible to hit at range. It was first reported through our in-game bug tool three days ago.
What we changed
Wall-run duration now has a shared cooldown across chained walls on the same geometry type, closing the loop that made infinite chaining possible, without affecting normal wall-run usage in a fight.
About the leaderboard
Ranked results from the 48-hour window where this was most heavily used are under review. Accounts confirmed to have exploited it intentionally will have season rank adjusted; accidental or incidental use will not be penalized.
